Adventures in Medicine

Medical School and Beyond!

About the Author

As long back as I can remember my biggest dream has been to become a doctor, more specifically a pediatrician.  Throughout my journey called life I have tried my best to follow the path that will take me to my final destination where I will finally see the letters MD after my name.

This path has taken me on some awesome adventures in places such as Zambia and St. Kitts.  You see after high school I attended Trinity International University and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Biology/pre-med and then a Master of Arts in Bioethics.  During my time at TIU I went with my school on a missions trip to Zambia and got to experience the AIDS epidemic first hand and got a glimpse of medicine in a third world country.

After college I started medical school at University of Medicine and Health Sciences, which required I live in St. Kitts for 19 months.  Before going away to medical school I decided to start this blog to keep all my friends and family informed about my adventure, my progress, and sometimes what I am learning.  I also thought this would be a good avenue to enlighten other prospective doctors as they navigate the waters known as medical school.
